Latest PAN Card Guidelines 2026

As per New Rules, Valid Birth Proof is mandatory for DOB accuracy.

New PAN Card

New Application with Verified Date of Birth documents.

Required Documents:
  • Birth Certificate (Issued by Registrar)
  • High School (10th) Marksheet
  • Aadhaar Card (For Identity & Address)
  • 2 Passport Size Photos

Note: Aadhaar is now only used for Identity; for DOB, a Birth Certificate or Marksheet is preferred.

APPLY NEW PAN

Correction / Update

Correct DOB, Name, or Photo in your existing PAN card.

Documents for Update:
  • Valid Birth Proof (Mandatory for DOB change)
  • Existing PAN Card Copy
  • Aadhaar Card (Updated)
  • Marriage Certificate (For Name change after marriage)

Warning: PAN will be deactivated if details don't match your Birth records.
